Do you realize that our forum "Toronto Fishlovers" is easily searcheable through majoy search engines like Yahoo and MSN?

So, you don't have to remember (or tell your friends) the long ezboard site address or even the shortcut: tfl.hopto.org. You can simply key it the name to seach engine and it usually appears as the first found result

1) Post your photos on a web page, for example you can post it free at

2) Then, you can either link the web site by using the "link" button while you are creating your thread. OR

3) If you want to post a particular photo on the thread, you can right-click on the selected photo...

I understand some members/visitors might not want to see the pop-up ads from ezboard, but it is kind of out of my control

Good new, there is a free feature in Yahoo seach engine - Pop-up blocker, once you install it. It can help you block most of the pop-up ads. It works for me so far

When you login as a member:

1) There are flags to show you what are newly added since your last visit.

2) Posts are sorted, so you can always browse the latest on the top.

3) You can edit your posts if necessary

Aquarium Auction

I just attend the Bramption Aquarium Auction the first time last week. It was a cool experience, met lost of hobbyists, lost of cheap stuff to buy. Most items started at $1. 10-20 gallons tanks are especially cheap, most of them were sold at $5 to $10. It is held annually, I will definitely go again next year.

I know there are two other auctions from other clubs coming soon. One in Guelph, one in Ajax, does any member know any details of them ?

How to post a picture or web link on this forum

A member asks me to show how to add a picture on the post. Here is a short tutorial.

1) Click on the "ezCodes" button on the Formatting row. (even it is already checked, click again and you will see the list of options like "image", "link", "email" etc.)

2) Click on the button of your choice

3) Post the file link or web link on the space provided. Then, click "ok".
